Before I had kids I would always see other people's children and say the dreaded, "My kid will never act like that!" ... Well, today I wonder how I could have been SO judgemental and ignorant!?!?!?!
On a run of the mill trip to Sam's Cl*b today I had an epiphany. People look at my children and their behavior and say that exact same thought that use to run through my mind. Ugh! Monkey was screaming due to the seat restraints, and by screaming I mean SCREAMING. And Big sissy was trying to eat every sample in the store! While simotaniously climbing up boxes to, "take a rest." Did I say ugh yet?
Needless to say, today I was humbled. And embaressed. But that's life right?

Yes, that's definitely life! I thought that way all the time before I had kids, and now I'm giving dirty looks to the people giving ME dirty looks in the grocery store or on the airplane or any other inconvenient locations where my children choose to act up. I've learned to laugh it off!!
crap i missed wondering weds. sigh. its been that kinda week.
ive changed from saying my children will never do that to my children will only do that once. Then i will stop it.
even that doesnt always hold true but i feel like its a better attitude.
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I find myself saying that A LOT right now...not so much, "my kids will never do that," but more like, "I won't be THAT kind of parent." *sigh* I feel karma at my back!
