On Sunday afternoon my husband and I were sitting on the couch relaxing while the kiddos napped. And low and behold our door bell rang (which hardly ever happens unless its a landscape guy or Jehovah witness). I answered the door fully prepared to be annoyed that I was forced to get my lazy buns off the couch. But when I opened the door it was our neighbor! He's an older gentleman that lives two doors down. He is always waving at us and hurling a howdy our way while on walks. Nice guy. So he hands over a grocery bag filled with lemons! Apparently they have four trees in their backyard and he thought we would like some. AND WE DO! I am going to make some lovely things with these lemons (tonight I am trying a baked lemon chicken recipe with brown rice!)
Anywho, these lemons are beautiful and I was super stoked that he thought of us.
You know what they say... When life gives you lemons, MAKE LEMONADE!!!
So that was my first order of business! :) Next order of business... FINDING OUT LOVELY NEIGHBORS NAME!!!

:) When we first moved into our house, the neighbor from across the street loaned us some yardwork equipment. I made his wife cookies. For the life of me, I cannot remember her name!
