Today was SUCH a productive day! My wonderful friend offered to pick up my older daughter after preschool and keep her for awhile to play with her son. And I was not about to turn that offer down! So it was just me and my monkey (that's what we call our little lady) for most of today. We dropped off Big sissy at school and then headed to the gym (where monkey has the ladies in the play room wrapped around her tiny little fingers!) I was able to work out for as long as I wanted without rushing home to shower and then pick up Big sissy from school. Then when I did come home I feed munchkin lunch, started laundry, vacuumed and swept. Then I put her down for her nap while I mopped, did more laundry and cleaned and organized my other daughters disaster of a room (we hadn't found homes for all her Christmas toys yet.). THEN I was able to hop in the shower, get dressed and empty the dishwasher! ALL before Big Sissy came home! Oh the joys of a productive day!
HOWEVER, after all that productiveness (is that even a word?) I am pooped! Apparently I'm not on my game anymore! When did we (and by we I mean the hubby and I) become so old? Come on, I'm only 26... NOT that old right? But my husband came home from work a little earlier than normal today, so we ate dinner early. Now he is asleep on the couch and I could fall asleep too if it wasn't for these two children climbing all over me! It's not even 6 p.m. on a Friday night! :) Oh well, I guess we all have to accept defeat at some point! Okay I might have used a few too many exclamation marks in this post. Forgive me!!! :) Off to bathe the boogers off my children...
